Our worship can only go as high as our theology is deep. Ricardo blends music with sound doctrine, teaching the Gospel through song, harmony, and instrument.
Ricardo Escobar was born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Washington, D.C., where he grew up in a Pentecostal church. It was there that he first heard the gospel and experienced a life-changing transformation. During those formative years, his passion and gifting for music began to flourish as he served as lead guitarist for both the main worship band and the youth band.
Ricardo earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Southwestern College and went on to receive a Master’s in Worship Music from Liberty University. In 2021, through deep theological study, he embraced Reformed theology, leaving behind his Pentecostal roots and rethinking both his doctrine and approach to worship.
He served as Worship Director and Associate Pastor at Crossway Methodist Church before accepting the role of Worship Director at King’s Way Reformed Church in Prescott, Arizona, where he now leads with a vision rooted in biblical fidelity and Christ-exalting music.
