English

At King’s Way Academy, we are dedicated to developing imaginative and skilled students of literature who not only grasp complex plots and craft compelling stories but also master the art of wordcraft, all while utilizing their command of the English language to bring glory to God.

Command of the English Language

We integrate a classical and Charlotte Mason approach to learning, using living books that engage students with rich, meaningful content. Through narration, feedback, and discussions, students develop a deep understanding of the material, honing their ability to interpret texts critically and thoughtfully.

This method not only builds their command of the English language but also nurtures a love for the Word of God, which they recognize as the ultimate piece of literature, shaping both their academic and spiritual lives.

Mastering English is crucial for accurate interpretation and faithful communication. Our goal is to raise future men and women who can impact the world with their words—whether it’s homeschooling their children, drafting laws for Congress, or preaching sermons in their local church.

Why Enroll Your Child?

At King’s Way, your children will receive a robust Christian education complete with skills in logic and interpretation, biblical and systematic theology, and practical and faithful application of subjects to real life.

We partner with parents by reinforcing the virtues and responsibilities you’re instilling at home. Our teachers and administrators serve as trusted authority figures—working in alignment with your values to help shape strong, respectful, and godly children.

We use both IEW and The Good and the Beautiful, which are excellent curricula, with slight modifications from our faculty to better align the content with our school’s objectives.
